Orchard is a Significant Milestone

Pirate Chain's transition to Orchard will be a significant milestone for the project's history. Orchard is the transactional implementation of the Halo2 zero-knowledge proving system. Orchard will bring to Pirate Chain an improved trustless setup from the original Zcash Foundation Powers of Tau trusted setup of 87 participants for Sapling.
